For our very first 'From the Archive' and ahead of NaSTA 51, we're looking back at Awards nights gone by.
The location is Loughborough, the year was 2014 and that Oscars selfie started a trend that would be emulated at awards nights for the next few years.
Host station LSUTV, led by Host Officer Matt Peat, put on a magnificent weekend. The highlights video acts as a time capsule and raises a few questions. Just how many Blue Peter presenters have NaSTA produced? What has happened to those branded t-shirts? And where did SUSU find that many neon green ties?
With a packed timetable including drinks, conference, more drinks, a golden bodge, even more drinks, some awards, a lot more drinks and an AGM to cap it all off. It's no wonder future conferences have decided to do away with the hungover AGM and put it online instead.
